Your full day out with us includes many interactive farmyard activities including:
The Critters/Reptile experience, Farmyard Friends, Lambing Barn/Bottle feeding and all Indoor & Outdoor Play Areas. Also our fabulous farm train is now included in your day out with us. Our lambing barn will be bursting with newlife for the second part of lambing time, the perfect place to witness live births and meet the most recent new arrivals, baby lambs and even baby goats are expected.
You can meet and feed many of our friendly farm animals in the animal barn and out in the paddocks. Our friendly farmers are always on-hand all day to answer all your farming questions.
Our cafe is open daily and serves locally sourced hot and cold refreshments. Your also most welcome to bring along your own refreshments and enjoy our fully heated indoor seating area.
What ever the weather its a grand dayout for all the family.

This summer, join us for the Critters Experience and Farmyard Friends! Our Pygmy Goats and Dorset Sheep are expecting babies, so don’t miss the lambing barn during your visit. Enjoy all our outdoor and indoor play areas, meet and feed friendly farm animals, and take a ride on the farm train – all included with your ticket.

Your Santa train ticket includes full access to all our fantastic farm attraction, were all our animals will definitely be in the festive spirit.
Experience a delightful family adventure aboard our festive farm train as you embark on a journey to meet Santa. Along the way, keep an eye out for our stunning herd of Fallow deer as you arrive at Lake View Station. Santa awaits you in his newly designed, spacious, and magical grotto, ready to warmly welcome you and your loved ones. Meanwhile, Santa’s mischievous elves will be spreading joy and laughter with their playful antics!

The Pumpkin Picking Adventure
11th - 31st October 2025
We are happy to announce that The Famous Pumpkin Picking Adventure is back again for another year.
THIS IS A FULL DAY OF FARMYARD FUN!
Farmer Chris has planted over 20,000 plants in our pumpkin fields, and they will be ready for your Halloween harvest this October.
Tickets to this event are limited and each year is a sell out.
Each ticket includes a FULL DAY admission to Windmill Animal Farm, all animal interactions and activities. The famous Pumpkin Picking Adventure is where all visitors get to pick their own pumpkin from the fields that they are grown in. You are welcome to access our pumpkin field at anytime throughout your visit. One pumpkin per ticket is included. You are welcome to purchase more pumpkins on the day.
Wheel barrows will be provided – don’t forget your wellies!

This February Half Term, join us at Windmill Animal Farm Lancashire for one of the most magical times of year – Lambing Season!
Come and experience the wonder of new life arriving, with the chance to see our adorable newborn lambs and learn all about how we care for them. You even get the opportunity to help bottle-feed our lambs, making your visit truly unforgettable.
Get hands-on with our friendly animals and make new friends in our Guinea Pig family, where little ones can enjoy gentle interaction in a safe and supervised environment. Feeling brave? Why not face your fears in Cuddly Critters, where you can meet some of our more unusual (but very lovable!) animals up close.
Don’t miss a ride on our popular Farm Train, taking you on a fun journey around the farm and giving you a chance to see even more of our animals along the way — a firm favourite with children and grown-ups alike!
When it’s time to relax, let the kids burn off some energy in our indoor play area, while you unwind in our cosy coffee shop, serving a locally sourced, made-to-order menu with delicious drinks and food for the whole family.
