Alpacas

Very similar to a small Llama. They live in the Andes mountains of Equador, Chile and Peru.

Their wool is used for knitting and weaving, much as sheep wool is. It can be made into jumpers, hats, blankets, scarves and gloves.

Alpacas have been domesticated for thousands of years and are gentle and curious animals.

Colour: reddish brown, white

A male alpaca is called a male
A female alpaca is called a female
